We are, in fact, leading a cocky's life at present, up at 3.30 every morning & taking our horses off the lines until daybreak: what for, goodness only knows; planes or an attack presumably, but even then, - However who am I to enquire into the dispensation of Red Tape?
During the last few days several thousand infantry have arrived out here, and are now busily employed constructing redoubts & trenches, apparently
