where we still are languishing up till the preset time of writing. This is a miserable camp, very dusty, nearly a mile to go to water the horses & altogether inconvenient. The great feature of this place is fleas of all sizes; very troublesome at first, but now I am getting very smart at catching the nimble flea and it is a very rare thing for me to get in more than two bites before he is called to account; unless of course I am on parade when it is not etiquette to go a-flea-catching.
