We are supposed to be moving shortly – I hope to goodness that it comes off – and mean while I am supposed somewhat exercised as to how I am going to carry all my stuff.
We are supposed to be travelling light i.e. one is permitted to carry what one can get on one's horse & a few things rolled up in ones blankets. I have managed – by means of honeyed words in the ears of one of the drivers of the drill transport wagons to bring along with me a small infantry pack also. But now
