I have another Paper before me wherein a Calculation is made that Captain McArthur has 4000 sheep & that their produce is to save the Nation an immense Sum by their Wools.  I have mentioned in a former part of this letter that we now posses 16501 Sheep.  Capt Macarthurs number of that stock is 4761.  On the calculation of the best practical Farmer in this Colony who is the clergyman Mr. Marsden, not more than a Tenthe part of the Flocks have any pretension to be called fine body sheep, altho most of them now have more or less wool of different degrees of finenes.  As Mr Marsdens observations on this object are I believe very disinterestedly given I enclose you a copy of it, and in the small box I also enclose a paper parcel with specimens of the different wools, & the improving state of the Sheep.  With the increase & Mr Marsdens observations as a data it may be calculated how far Captain McArthurs flock of sheep are equal to seeing the expence of £1;800,000 to the [indecipherable]
