The man whose story is advanced to support the scanderous [[?] intention of the writer is well known as a most dangerous Character in London, he is named [indecipherable] Robinson who conspired against the Character & life of one of the first Magistrates of the police about London, Mr. Oldham Oldham accusing him of murder.  He came to this Colony a Convict for life, on his arrival he received a Conditional Emancipation from my predecessor, as Clerk to the Judge Advocate he perjured himself before a Civil Court & repeated it before me in an appeal from the Verdict of that Court, with an intention of [indecipherable] an innocent man.  On that occasion I exercised that authority which the law vested in me when sitting in a Court as a Judge a Court of Record as Judge.  This
