which returned in June and she will sail from here the middle of next month with the Colonel & his Establishment to Port Dalrymple.  From the different accounts I have had of that place I am not satisfied that it would be safe for a ship of the Buffalos burthen to go in there.  I have therefore ordered her to lye in Kents Bay in Furneaux Islands & send the Colonial Vessells in first before she ventures.  As this issue has required every exertion to get shipping & hiring Vessells that accidentally came here being out of the Question for the great & exorbitant demands they make;  After having the Investigations [indecipherable] it has appeard that by having all her top barks [?] cut off to the lower decks, that her bottom would be sufficiently strong to run for at least three or four years.  This I have done, and for the strengthening repair she has received, she will be a very useful Vessell, and will sail from here, at the same time the Buffalo sails, to bring the Settlers & others from Norfolk Island who wish to remove from there.
