With reference to your letter of the 15th instant, soliciting the assistance of the officers of this Department in collecting information regarding Aboriginal names of places, etc., I am directed to inform you that the Secretary for Mines and Agriculture has approved of steps being taken towards that end, and to request that you will kindly furnish us with, say, 130 more of your printed lists, which will enable one to be sent to each of the Wardens, Wardens' Clerks, and Mining Registrars throughout the Colony.
