Dear Sir
Relative to your enquiry as to the aboriginal names and their meanings I would bring under your notice a man who as an assistant to your purpose is without doubt invaluable from the circumstances that he is a half caste and spent his childhood and earlier boyhood in the blacks camps and his later youth at one of the leading grammar schools in Melbourne. Subsequently he received a [?commercial] education in one of the large Melbourne stock offices. Fiskin Valentine & Co I think. After which he again lived with the blacks & has always been in touch with the lower Murrumbidgee and
