With reference to your letter of the 25th ultimo and previous correspondence, I have the honor to forward herewith additional replies as per margin which have been received relative to the Native names of places, etc.
In the absence of Mr Surveyor Halliday's letter, set to you on the 22nd ultimo, it is not possible to identify with certainty the book you refer to as mentioned by him, but if you will be so goo as to forward a copy of his memorandum on the subject search will be made.
