7. The Aboriginal system of numeration
is very limited - words are found for
"one", "two", and occasionally "three".
Four is sometimes two-two (Boolla Boolla)
but after that everything is "a great
number', 'very many'.
8. Pressure of urgent work has prevented
me from replying sooner and also from
compiling a fuller list. I have ad-
hered strictly to names only of places,
localities etc
