Some of the ancient Checques it is Presumd will be Found useless & may with safety be Abolishd; others are no doubt absolutely necessary; but in some of these improvements may be made derivd from the Experience of the office, which has not for a Long time been Subjected to any alterations whatever. With this view, the offices of both departments will Separately Examind, & the Propriety of Continuing or of Extinguishing them if any doubt arises separately considerd. & Such Regulations will also be proposd as seem proper to be Submitted to the discussions of the Commee [Comittee] of P.C. for Coins if approved by your Lordship
