his office is to weigh The Bullion between the importer & the Master, The Barrs, Scissel & Coin between The Master & the moneyers & the Coin again between the office & the Proprietor

in his Capacity of Kings Clerk, he keeps books Similar to those kept by the Principal officers, as Clerk of the papers he is to Record all memorials References &c Relative to the office his Duty is said to have been much increasd within these few years

In the old mint this officer had Charge of the keys of The money presses & was deemd Responsible for any improper use of them, how his Services can be adapted to the new office Remains to be Considerd
