his Salary is £60 a year, his business to Prosecute all Counterfeiters of money for which service he charges his Fees &c as the professional man & as the mint disbursements on this head amount to £3000 a year at the Least, his Situation Cannot but be Lucrative.

These were at Least usefull officers, they audited the accounts of the warden the master & the Comptroller, Their Salary was only £20 a year each These offices have not of Late years been Filld up & they do not appear in the Lists of offices Lately returned from the mint but we are ignorant in what manner the accounts of the mint are now Finaly audited
