Tube strike very inconvenient

Bright cold day - Visited Dr. Johnston's house in Gough Square, Fleet Street. Had tea there as Guests of League of Empire. Rode in 'Bus from Clapham Junction to Hyde Park, walked from Hyde Park Corner to Marble Arch, thence along Oxford St. to Tottenham Court Road Tube, thence bused to Mansion House & walked to Fleet St. Visited show of Models of aeroplanes, war vessels, shells & trenches in Oxford St.
