"A" Coy officers entertained the C.O. Major Allen & Capt McKillop at Mess & spent a very pleasant evening.
8th
Sunday - Church Parade at Pierrot Theatre. Spoke to company about Xmas dinner preparations. This afternoon two Americans attached as Mechanics to a French Division now stationed at Fourmies visited me. We entertained ourselves with Gramaphone & watching Guard mounting, before afternoon tea, after which we yarned.
9th
Lectured to Bn. on Historical Convention between England & France dealing especially with Jeanne d'Arc. Led debate as Premier - 13th Bn. v 15th Bn. at YMCA on Unification of Australia. - 15th won.
