Despite the fact that by this time we were in about the last stages of Australian wildness a good padre of the Church Army, put us up for the night & early on the morning of the 13th we took the train back to Etaples where we arrived at dusk stopping at the B.Q.R.'House. We reported the following morning to Camurs & remained there until we again got our marching orders on the 21st. As usual something went wrong & we got on to a train this time which took us to Calais before we found out that it would be of no use to us. We stopped there that night but saw little of Calais.
