Enemy planes over again this morning & dropped several bombs on the new railhead but did not penetrate as far as our camp so after a short pause we resumed our breakfast.
Sept. 2.
This evening by way of introducing a new flavour someone dropped a lizard in the stew; fortunately it could swim & was got out fairly quickly anyhow the stew was eaten & no one has died yet, I took good care not to get any until
