Thursday 2/11/16 Raining heavily all training postponed. Went for a bath with Bas and Smith to HEILLY
Friday 3/11/16 Practice of Bde in cooperation with aircraft contact patrols leaving tomorrow
Saturday 4/11/16 Marched at 8 A.M. to MAMETZ Area – congestion & Road traffic enormous – very muddy
Sunday 5/11/16 Moved up at 7 AM to Div Reserve for Stunt – Paton wounded also Fitzgerald late 20th – after bitterly cold day returned to Billets.
Monday 6/11/16 Wrote to Doff – Went into line taking over from 26th 27th & 23rd Trenches in a frightful condition.
Tuesday 7/11/16 Feeling very sick went to see Smith at R.A.P stopped the night with him.
Wednesday 8/11/16 Went back to line but felt rotten Came out
