Saturday 26/8/16 Came out ahead of Battalion to the Brickfields to fix up Bivouac – Battn still in saw the General.
Sunday 27/8/16 Battn went to TARA Hill wounded a 12 months
Monday 28/8/16 Saw General – letter from Doff – Battn at Brickfields – leaving for WArloy tomorrow raining heavily.
Tuesday 29/8/16 Wet day marched to Warloy – roads very heavy Had dinner with Spier at 'D' Coy.
Wednesday 30/8/16 Review of Brigade (postponed) by General Birdwood saw the General wrote to Doff
Thursday 31/8/16 Genl Birdwood presented medals for Poziers – 1 DSO 2 MC, 5 DCM & 9 MM – myself on Court Martial –Battalion.
