Friday 6/10/16 Handed over to 25th Battalion and left Ypres by train at 10 pm.
Saturday 7/10/16 Arrived at 4 am at Winnizelle after a mess up of billets had to sleep in open for a couple of hours.
Sunday 8/10/16 Had a letter and photo from Doff – saw the General at Steinworde – he is going on leave tomorrow. wrote to Doff.
Monday 9/10/16 Took over command of 18th from Wisdom moving billets tomorrow.
Tuesday 10/10/16 Shifted billets had a good look around went to Padre Fernies Birthday dinner Party Martin Mayham Bas Frizell Johnson Mather & Smith
