Sunday 11/6/16 Started work in earnest. had a hot bath early, layout fighting, Bombing etc.
Monday 12/6/16 More work, trenches well under way, lectures etc saw the General at night
Tuesday 13/6/16 Had a letter from Doff shifted into Bombing School Men working hard.
Wednesday 14/6/16 Wrote to Doff – Men still going strong, and getting into fine fettle.
Thursday 15/6/16 Trenches nearly 'completed' team finally selected saw 7th Bde at work
Friday 16/6/16 Saw Ivanell D Kay shifted into [indecipherable] to bed Things working well
Saturday 17/6/16 Trenches completed first practice by daylight. wrote orders, gas alarm Sunda at night, Had a cable from Doff & Florrie
