Cheer up old girl don't fret too much remember you have to keep the family going. It may not be so very long before we will be with each other once again & then no more partings.
You will be glad to hear that one of the first faces I spotted when I got on the ship was Lance Crpl. Winter – he rushed up to me shook hands most cordially & I didn't take long to get him installed as my very own. He was into my trunks quick & lively & now has everything in its place. My room mate Major Grey is a very decent chap, snores mildly but responds quickly to external stimuli. The rest of the chaps
