I hope Flinders has reached England long before this arrives.  The loss of the Bridgewater has given but a very lone account of his  being the poor Castaway.

I am sorry to say that Paterson is confined to his bed by a violent Inflamation in his head.  I hope he will soon recover, but his case is by no means pleasant.
