During afternoon I visited Regents Park & the Zoo.   Met George, strode the streets of West End, finally putting up at Kenilworth Hotel.

Sunday - At Kenilworth Hotel
Took a walk during the morning along Holburn, Kingsway, Strand, Fleet Street, visited St Paul's Cathedral & then had dinner at "Ye Old Cheshire Cheese" Hotel in Fleet St.   This is a famous old inn where Dr. Johnson dined regularly, it being then quite old. The present rooms date from about 1680. The chief dishes are "Ye Old Cheshire Pudding" of beef, kidney & mushrooms & pancakes. I met my brother George at Picadilly Circus at 2.15 pm & together we visited the Spears at Crouch End. Had afternoon tea there & then visited their brother Dr. Spears. I returned to hospital in the evening.
