Bn. Parade for reception & unfurling of the 2-blues flag presented by the Women of Australia. It was unfurled by Brig-Gen Drake Brockmann [DrakeBrockman]. A very poor flag from a material & workmanship point of view.
A "rough house" night by Hqr's subs on "A" subs & each other.

1st Decr.
Rode with Dick Swinburne through Feron  to Fourmies. There is an interesting old church at Feron, the tower being dated 1614, & a fine looking modern church at Fourmies. Population of Fourmies  was 15,000 & the industries were cotton & silk work & pottery making.  The buildings are modern & up to date.
