Evacuated from No 25 G.H. to England to 3rd London General Hosp. Wandsworth. Left Hardelot (No 25) five miles S. of Boulogne at 11.30 - sailed from Boulogne at 1.20.   Had a good lunch before sailing - Very rough crossing made me seasick. Entered Dover about 3.10 - Dover Harbour packed with destroyers, mine sweepers submarines and camouflaged vessels of all kinds.  

Hospital train to London a splendid train - detrained at Kennington & driven (with Lt Backhouse 1st Bn. AIF) to  3rd L.G.H. in a beautiful car. - 4 seater - Sent to Ward C10.

Face fomented on account of several swelling glands & forehead rubbed with Calamine Liniment.   Spent a lazy day
