Thursday 16/11/16 Quiet day had a game of cards
Friday 17/11/16 Had a long talk with the General who told me I am likely tto be d=sent to command the 25th Batallion.
Saturday 18/11/16 Battalion moved to Carlton. Camp at 9 AM & after a very tiresome day I led them to Adr. Brig. H.Q. where I handed them over to Guides & returned.
Sunday 19/11/16 Returned to Camp at 8 AM very tired – slept all day
Monday 20/11/16 Quiet day – very bad cold remained inside all day
Tuesday 21/11/16 Saw Marsden also Davies from RM College. Went to Carlton Camp & met the Battalion – shelled all night – evryone very tired
Wednesday 22/11/16 Entrained at Montaalan and detrained at Meaulte then marched over to Ribemont.
