Sunday 22/10/16 Quiet day but very cold had a letter from Doff enclosing a lock of Bille's hair. Had a photo taken on Friday. Wrote to Doff

Monday 23/10/16 Orders to entrain tomorrow for Pont Remy on Somme. made a reconnainace as far as AUDRIUCO place of entrainment beautiful weather.

Wednesday 25/10/16 Marched to BALLENCOURT 6 miles – Had dinner with Martin at Chateau at PONT REMY

Thursday 26/10/16 Saw General now back with Brigade – Proceeded by Motor bus to Rebimont after a march in rain arrived at village at 11 PM
