Thursday 13/7/16 Martin went by car to reconnoitre – Troops having a spell – have marched 42 miles so far. Wrote to Doff
Friday 14/7/16 Visited Amiens and has a good look around saw the Cathedral – France Day
Saturday 15/7/16 Had a letter & some photos from Doff – saw the General moving soon now
Sunday 16/7/16 Received orders at 11 A< to March at Noon to Cardonuette through Poulainville – 7 miles Billets crowded and not so comfortable. Martin upset raining. Dowlings Horse bolted
Monday 17/7/16 Raining all day – gave lectures to companies on Wool & Village fighting
