Tuesday 6/6/18 Quiet day until bombardment by Artillery at 11.15 pm for raid by 7th Brigade Artillery. Opened on several points and then concentrated on area to be raided. German retabation killed 5 and wounded 6 of our men. Raid a success 2 men killed & 3 wounded of party. Wrote to Mrs Gray
Wednesday 7/6/16 Went around Trenches Had a letter from Genl Birdwood congratulating me on DCO. Wrote to Doff
Thursday 8/6/16 Fairly quiet day one man wounded one killed
Friday 9/6/16 Two scouts wounded by M.G. from A Battalion
Saturday 10/6/16 In charge of Practice Party Heritage, Kirke, Heath, Lane, Byrne, Harper, Fay, Dooker, Wallach being officers. Commenced with men
