Monday 29/5/16 Streaky Bacon Far, Billet. shelled by Enemy 8 men wounded. Wrote to Doff. Went up to Trenches with Capt Clover Re Trench [indecipherable] Had a long letter from [indecipherable]
Tuesday 31/5/16 Board of Enquiry on damage to Streaky Bacon Farm. Frizell had dinner with us.
Wednesday 31/5/16 A bit off color. Finished Court of Enquiry on Farm
Thursday 1/6/16 sent a cable to Doff saying "All well best love you & Billie" Lunched with Sharp [indecipherable] Craft battery – had hot bath
