One of the questions of the hour is this Referendum vote that will be taken here soon. I think that the majority is quite in favour of national service though not of absolute conscription. The main trouble is lack of suitable propaganda and opportunities for explain the situation to the men. Isn't it funny to think that I may have my first vote on the battlefield.
You were asking about Little. He was with Arthur right from the beginning and to my certain knowledge was greatly attached to him and served him well and faithfully. He is quite a good lad. I have seen him several times in the last month but will make a point of looking him up and letting you know more particulars. He may have people in Sydney who would be glad of some assistance.
