<p>[Page&nbsp;99]</p><p>of about &nbsp;&pound;100 (to &nbsp;&pound;200) a month from the camp coffers for meat, vegetables etc. This subsidy consists partly of a share of canteen profits, partly of cooperative money, and the rest comes from monthly contributions of 1s per man. One can see how much money is being spent by the camp inmates from the fact that the monthly bank withdrawals total more than &nbsp;&pound;1000, that the government pays about &nbsp;&pound; [150 in feint pencil], and many receive their money in registered mail.
