I now pay 17 shillings (17 M) a week for board and lodging.</p><p>Melbourne, December 11, 1914. Today I received an advance of &nbsp;&pound;5 (about 100 M) from our agent Ostermeyer at Van Rompaey &amp; Co.&nbsp;</p><p>Melbourne, December 16, 1914. Today I received 40sh (about 40 M) from the Aust. government for the period from 29th Nov to 12th Dec.</p>
