and their meanings
Constable T.W. Green No [?]926,
Reports ÷ that there are no Aboriginals residing
in this district from whom any information
could be obtained, The Constable has made
inquiries among the Oldest residents of this
district; and find that "Bungwahl" is the
name of a Root that grows in a swamp
here which the natives used as food,
when other provisions were scarce
