Sir, I have the honor to respectfully solicit your assistance in collecting the aboriginalForward for attention names of places with their meanings.early as practicable With that end in view I forward underas regards mudgee separate [?] I as printed Circulars, which ifSub District. I may, I would suggest should be sent to the3 printed Circulars [inspectors?] and [inspectors?] of police in theherewith. If more [?] Districts, with a covering note requestingbe required, they will them to complete and return at their earliestbe made out in convenience.manuscript. The Society intends arranging the names in lexicographical order and publishing them in their Journal, thus making a permanent record of them for future generations. I might that a similar application was made to and granted by the Chief Secratary for Queensland.
