A letter in the Threlkeld Papers (MSS) announces his intention to persevere with the work, using land granted to him by the Governor, complains bitterly of the treatment accorded him, and states that he has written to the Rev. S. Marsden asking if he is to consider himself discharged at the close of the year ending October 1830. There is also a letter to Marsden and a further letter to the Directors of the Society.
