35 Pots. -- In the Ganges a Ship arrived from Bengal the Honble Mr. Cockrane is come passenger -- he has taken pains with a few Plants which he has requested me to give to the Governor & Island of Jamaica.

Report here seems to assure me we are by this time involved in a War, -- If the French Villains break any of my Pots I shall have no temper with them.

Dear Sir I send to you a Copy of a letter I have received from the Governor & Council, and I hope I shall send to you from Jamaica similar proofs of my endeavors to render the Voyage successfull -- Your kind and constant partiallity  towards me makes me extremely anxious to give you proofs it has not been misplaced. In June I hope to have the happyness  to see you. May I trouble you to present my best respects to Lady Banks & family and to assure you that I am with the most gratefull  attachment Your very Affectionate
Hmble Servant
Wm Bligh

I left letters for you at Otaheite and Timor. -- The late Ships should have done the same at Otaheite -- I should have most certainly received all accounts L. Edwards or Vancouver might have written.
