by the Observation of its covering your Hospitable Table.  By the returns set before me there has been made from European Flax grown & Manufactured 8,000 Yards of Linnen sold at 2/6 a Yard 1873 Yards of Blankitting at 2/  Twine, log lines?] & Rope, a great quantity since 31st October to 31st  1803 to 31st March 1805.  This has given Employment to 39 Men mostly  invalids [?] & 91 Women who could do no other Work.  While Victualling & Cloathing costs the Crown £[indecipherable] a Year exclusive of the Superintendants pay which is not less than £100 a Year.  Therefore every thing considered I do not think it costs the Crown more than the price charged 2/6 a Yard.  Exclusive of the above a quantity of Sail Cloth has been made & this day 24th June I have had the pleasure of seeing the Colonial Cutter Integrity sail out of the Harbour with a Suit of Sails made from our Manufacturing as her Voyage is to Valparaiso on the Coast of Chili she will try it.  We keep giving a Learning in this object.  Perhaps Hemp grows more luxuriant here than in any other part of the World - as this is a tender subject & open to Punsters I shall not enlarge more on that Subject, Except that any Quantity may be produced - but the best of Far is against its Utility as it could seem so to send it such a distance as a Raw materill.  This Naturally leads in to Commercial object & as the Staple
