GERMAN SOLOMON ISLANDS (cont).

A road runs right round Buka.
In Bougainville the road starts at Banin and goes down the north east coast, with the exception of a gap from about Numa Numa to Rorovan; it then continues from Rorovan to Loloei.  There are a few short stretches of road at other parts in Bougainville. The roads however are bad, in much the same condition as those at Simpsonshafen.
The same remarks apply to the roads in New Ireland.

GERMAN COMMISSIONERS.

There are German Commissioners at the following places. It is stated that in the eyes of the natives the capture of the Commissioner would be regarded as final indication of the seizure of the place.

Rabaul  (Head Commissioner)
Kieta
Kawieng
New Britain , North Coast.
New Britain , South Coast.
Frederich Wilhelmshafen (or else at Stepansort, or Erimahafen).
German New Guinea, south end near the boundary of British New Guinea.
Admiralty Islands (believed).

ANGUAR ISLAND.
It is stated that it rains all year round at Anguar [Angaur]. It lies between the monsoons.
