Memo:-
List of native names of places (with meanings) herewith. They are written in the first column as generally spelt and in many instances the native pronunciation has been retained; where that is not the case, in such names a "Narrandera, Grong Grong" [rs?]. I have written them again in red ink, giving the Aboriginal pronunciation as nearly as possible.
I regret to say that I have mislaid the copy of circular accompanying the list, but I presume it is not required.
