An' bathing! W'y Rud Kipling's pen
Would fail its charms to scribble.
We bathes all day exceptin when
The sharks is on the nibble.

Its prime to see the crocodiles
A-basking on their tummies,
While all the fellaheen beguiles
Their time in fakin' mummies.
And if our grub weren't sand and stuff
We'd say no place 'ud beat it
We likes old Egypt well enough –
But not enough to eat it.

Love from your aff. son & brother
W A Cull
