Denbigh Nov 15th 1838

My dear Brother.
I have just heard that Duncan is going
to Windsor and he is to call at the school, so I shall
write a few lines to you to know how you are, we
have all been unwell, and mamma is still
so with a cold. There has been some very nice
rain lately, but the water runs through the old
dam, and the new one has given way, but the
water does not run through. The rabbit that
you thought would die is dead. Cousin Edwin
has been staying with us and he wants a pair
