Muster parade with full pack for about 9 AM. Our kits were examined. Did nothing to day wind & dust was cruel. Got our sea bag to day. Received letters from J.E. Eliot, R. Thompson & B. Collins wrote 17/1/16. Fully expect to leave for France or Messapotamia [Mesopotamia]. Plenty letters for 6.19 BN reinforcements. A lot of rain through the night.
