[Letter]

4th. May 1915

My dear wife,
I am quite well and have been very busy for ten days. I suppose Russell is well on his way to France now. I hope he got my letters at Port Said. You will have heard of the doings of the Australians through the papers. They are magnificent fellows, and heroic in their sufferings. We have shifted our location a bit. I hear there is a mail on one of the ships. Yesterday I got a nice letter from Major Jackson from Cairo. Best love from Dad to you all.
S. J. Richards
