alright. I gave him a message I got through Frank Moran this morning asking him to write home. He said he writes every week. Frank Moran's Battalion is in "rest camp" in Walker's Gully, and he is very well and fit. I saw Scotty Lock tonight. He has been wounded but is back again alright. I am deeply sorry for Mr. & Mrs. Williams. I will get some more particulars from Espie Dodds when I see him next. Alec might let Rutherford's people know that I saw him, and that his wound is not dangerous. I sent him to Lemnos and he will probably be back in 3 weeks or so. Donelly is alright too. I saw Armour today. He is Acting Armourer Sergeant; and told me he got a great shock on seeing me at a distance here one day after what he had heard in Egypt. These Mount Morgan men all seem delighted to come down to the
