Ludgate Hill railway R Room, then went to Dalys where Betty was played. When the show was over rain was falling in torrents. The continuous whistle by porters calling cars & taxis denoted we had no chance of getting a taxi so we braved the elements & ran along to the nearest tube. We took it as far as Charing X thence underground to Mark Lane & caught our train in nice time.
Wednesday 7th July 1915. After lunch went ashore with W.
