<p>[Page 53]</p><p>Friday, 8 June 1917<br />Today we ran into a rather severe wind storm which continued throughout the night. Had a lecture in the afternoon. About tea time we had a very heavy rain storm. Mail closed today &amp; I posted 25 letters and 6 P. Cards.</p><p>Saturday, 9 June 1917<br />The sea worked up during the day and at night the ship was rolling heavily but the sun shone warmly. Sports held in the afternoon. Yarned with&nbsp; &quot;Scully&quot; on deck after tea.</p>
