Monday 19
Morning usual drill afternoon roll call and got ready to march out, fell in @ seven, marched out of Tel-el-Kebir @ quarter to twelve after 9 weeks 2 days and went aboard train.

Tuesday 20
Train left 1-45 arrived Alexandria about eight, went aboard S.S. Huntsend about ten stayed aboard all day, crowed out no room A.25.

Wednesday 21
Laying out in No. 2 Harbour all day.  Transports Royal George, Caledonian and another all loaded waiting to move off.

Thursday 22
Transport moved off while we were having breakfast 7-15.  After getting out destroyer came and escorted us zig zaging in front. Another transport just to hand.
