<p>[Page 101]</p><p>Wednesday, 12 September 1917<br />Weather beautifully fine. Nothing doing but rumours of being on draft next week seem persistent. Wrote letters in evening. Commenced one to K.</p><p>Thursday, 13 September 1917<br />Nothing to record much. Received a paper from Ethel &amp; Sydney Mail from K. In evening did little extra gun laying &amp; then wrote. Finished one to K. Weather fine.</p>
